In Memory of Katerina Clark
June 1941 - February 2024
Katerina, the second child and only daughter of Dymphna and Manning Clark, died on 1 February in Connecticut after a long illness. She was the B.E. Bensinger Professor of Comparative Literature and of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Yale, specialising in Russian culture of the twentieth century, including the arts, linguistics and scientific thought - her webpage is here. Katy had lived in the US since the 1970s. Gatherings to remember her will be held at Yale University and in Melbourne and Canberra. (Please contact MCH if you need details of the Melbourne or Canberra occasions.)
A colleague at Yale, Professor Edyta Bojanowska, has written this tribute to Katerina.
She will be very much missed by her family and friends.
