Kim is a leading expert on citizenship and an expert on gender and public law. “The Vetting of Wisdom: Joan Montgomery and the fight for PLC” is her recent publication. Kim will speak on how that story resonates with her own professional life and how Montgomery’s fall was Kim’s first experience of power triumphing over reason. Kim’s lecture will focus on improper exercises of power, restrictions on Australians’ movements in and out of the country and address questions on gender and power.
